We have been told that our International Koala Kollection of prints is quite unique and it certainly departs from the typical souvenir or travel memory.
How did the idea for this collection of illustrations come about? Many people are living in a country where we were not born, and although it is wonderful and we feel ok, at certain times we cannot avoid remembering with affection and nostalgia that best features, food, landscapes, weather, people... of our place of origin.
So our inspiration is the idea that uniting instead of separating is always smart and feels good. We want to be able to dye that melancholy with a smile when in Australia every now and then we miss our country of origin. And in the same way, represent the feelings of Australians who live temporarily or permanently in any other country in the world.
